Ronald Werner

Ronald "Ron" Karl Werner, 66, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on June 28, 2026. Ron was born on July 27, 1959, in St. Clair, Michigan. As a boy, he moved to Florida, where he attended high school. At just 18 years old, Ron began his career in auto upholstery, mastering the craft through years of hard work, dedication, and pride in every project he completed. His work was more than a profession; it was a reflection of his commitment to excellence and the care he put into everything he did. Together with Tami Kemp, Ron welcomed his daughter, Tascha Lyn Werner, in September 1977. Years later, Ron married Christina "Tina" Hayes. Together, they raised Destiny Davenport and welcomed two children, Ariel Werner and Daniel Werner. A devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Ron was a ray of sunshine to everyone who knew him. He lived life with a smile on his face, a generous heart, and a spirit that made even ordinary days brighter. He was always ready for fun and always willing to help someone in need. Ron believed in showing up for the people he loved. His family meant everything to him, and he loved them fiercely and unconditionally. His kindness extended far beyond his own family, he was the kind of man who would truly give the shirt off his back without expecting anything in return. His passing has left an immeasurable void. He left this world far too soon, but the memories of his laughter, generosity, unwavering love, and the countless lives he touched will remain with us forever. Ron is survived by his wife, Christina "Tina" Hayes; his daughters, Tascha Bartek, Destiny Davenport, and Ariel Werner; his son, Daniel Werner; his granddaughters, Hannah (Ryan) Schuster and Madelyn Bartek; his grandson, Jeremiah Bartek; his great-granddaughter, Layla Schuster; his sisters, Sherri Laffoday and Charlotte (Robert) Holm; his brother, James Lewis; and many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Werner; his mother, Joyce Barber; and his brother, Joseph "Joey" Werner. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Go Fund Me to benefit the children Ron loved so dearly.
