Rebekah Ward
April 29, 1970 - March 29, 2021
Rebekah Lorraine Ward was born April 29th, 1970 in Green Cove Springs, Florida and passed away March 29th, 2021 in St Vincent's medical center in Jacksonville, Florida. She was preceded in death by her father Woodrow Alton Ward, her mother Bettie Jewell Balcom, and her eldest daughter, Tara Nicole Parla. She is survived by three children, James, Jewell, and Patrick Bohlinger, her fianc Charles White, her brother Woody Alton Ward Jr., his children, and her cat and dog, Whiskey and Cola. Rebekah was known for her fiercely generous heart, and equally fierce personality. She loved helping people and opening up her home. She spent her time starting (and sometimes abandoning) new projects, gardening, writing her thoughts down, and riding Charles' Harley Davidson. She was an excellent artist and could draw and paint beautifully. Making jewelry was a specific passion of hers, sitting at her desk, beads everywhere, making handwritten business cards, earrings, jewelry through her small company that she named "Bekah's Jewells" after her daughter. She also loved oysters. She really, really loved oysters. She lived for fun and for love and loved the people around her with her whole heart. She was full of sass and humor, but always, always had a kind word of support to offer. She will be missed so much."
