Brenda Elizabeth Badger

Brenda Elizabeth Badger, 67 of Jacksonville Beach Florida, formerly of Greene, N Y. completed her life journey September 13, 2022. She was predeceased by her parents Bruce E. Badger and Jane E. Badger Fowlston. She is survived by her sister Mary Jane Alger (Randy) and brother Greg Badger (Bobbi). Her nieces and nephews Stephanie Alger (Allan Soper), Katie Alger Ives (Brendon), Steven Badger (Tarra), Jared Alger (Allison) and Kelly Badger Gugliemo(Ace). Great nieces and nephews Elizabeth Ives, Clayton Ives, Colt Badger, Emma Alger, Carly Alger, Isabella Gugliemo, and Zarianna Prentice. Also important in her life was her stepson Matthew Schneble and family, and nephew Jared Ross. Her devoted friends and coworkers Ed,Jean, Julie, Kamie, Karla and Melinda. Brenda was a 1973 graduate of Greene Central School where during her junior year she travelled to Europe, it was then that she developed her lifelong quest for travel. She graduated from Ithaca, NY College, then Davis and Elkins College in West Virginia with a degree in Psychology and Business. With an interest in marketing she built a successful business in Virginia, then later took part in building a business in Jacksonville Florida; now known as Our Senior Housing Guide. Brenda was not only a successful business woman, she was also a Humanitarian. Born on Earth Day, Brenda's adventurous love of nature and humanity lead her to travel independently overseas exploring what the world had to offer and helping unprogressive villagers along the way. She climbed mountains, parachuted, paraglided, and kayaked rivers wild, while always keeping her love of the calming waters of her childhood summers along the creek of Millbrook in Greene, NY and Lake Ludlow in McDonough, NY close to her heart. It was there that her grandfather, Ernest Badger instilled the love of nature. While anxious to leave small town Greene, NY Brenda always loved coming home and gathering with her family whose lives she enriched with tales from her travels. The family requests in lieu of flowers or donations please make memories with your loved ones and consider taking the trip you have always dreamed of. Per Brenda's wishes there will be no calling hours or service. Her family will honor her privately.
